VATTENFALL – Project Engineer in DanTysk Sandbank Offshore Windfarm

Mr. Kahle supported us in operation and maintenance processes of TP’s and WTGs for our DanTysk and Sandbank windfarm. He planned and coordinated the offshore work and our subcontractors. With his purposive documentation and his follow-up of the campaign status, he made sure that we were able to monitor our progress against our objectives. He created maintenance schedules, followed-up on them and ensured that all needed repairs and services were done according to them. Mr. Kahle coordinated the internal departments, determined the wind turbines for the daily jobs and he structured the work plan and time schedules for all jobs. Mr. Kahle’s main responsibility was the maintenance of the WTG foundations, as well as planning and monitoring of the ICCP system at our WTGs. He also coordinated and supervised the implementation of the works for lights and marking that were done by SABIK. He also took care of the budgeting, the tracking of the budget and the coordination of the process for material procurement. With his direct and goal-oriented style of communication Mr. Kahle made sure that technical problems were clarified and he kept track of the status of solving them. His complete documentation guaranteed a smooth project flow. With his deep knowledge about wind energy, his active leadership, and his solution-oriented working style Mr. Kahle was a significant factor for the success of our project. Mr. Kahle is characterized by his goal-oriented, efficient style of working and his direct and solution-based communication. With his effective project management, he supported us in improving our offshore campaigns.
